Such a great start to the cyclocross season today at the GP Brain Kinning. Always a super great race and such a great way to start the season with such a unique course which starts on a velodrome. Also super happy be riding in the colours of me new team VC Glendale Academy.

I got a good start exciting the velodrome in 2nd on the wheel of 1st. We got away and had a big gap riding hard for the 1st lap. I was still sitting on the wheel when he got a puncture and I attacked coming into the velodrome. As I excited I had a big gap and then just kept my head down growing the gap to 2nd place. I ended up winning the race with a gap of over 3 minutes to 2nd place. I’m super happy with how I rode today and I’m feeling really good coming into this cross season so it’s going to be exciting.
