The Phoneix GP took place at Lady Dixon’s Park in Belfast, hosted by Phoneix Cycling Club. With the weather holding out the course was dry and fast. I made a decent start but from the first running section on the first lap I was really struggling with an injury I picked up at the Brain Kinning GP. I was loosing time on each lap at this stage, but felt I was riding strong, I managed to come in third, very close to second so I’m well pleased.

With this injury I’ll probably take a week off to try and recover before we get too far into the season.
