Round one took place on Saturday 9th October at McCrystals CX track in Jenkinstown, Co.Louth. It was my first time at the track, we arrived just over an hour before my race to get some practice in and to learn the track.
I struggled off the start but got stronger as the race went on, I had a very strong last lap which was my fastest of the day, coming in 4th place, being clocked with the same time as Rian McCrystal in 3rd. Great racing and glad to be back at it after my injured leg, sustained in round one of the Ulster League.
