National series rd2 was a good one. All the good riders were back racing cross so it was going to be a competitive race.

The first lap was very fast I was in 2nd and closed the gap to 1st after the first half lap. He then broke away and we couldn’t close for the rest of the race. Me and my teammate James were away with a gap of about 10 seconds to 4th. The gap stayed around that till the last lap where it went out to 15 seconds. Through the woods on the last lap I really pushed down and nearly cracked my teammate but just got back on before the finish and he beat me in a close sprint finish

The course was super enjoyable and it was such a fun race and I’m happy to stay 2nd overall in the National Series. Looking forward to Westport Rd3 this weekend hopefully I will have another good race.
