What an amazing weekend we had in Killarney. The weather was roasting all weekend and the craic was class.

After a good day of practice and a quick dip in the lake I was ready for Sundays race. I really enjoyed the course here last year and I think it’s even better this year.

On Sundays race a lead group of 3 got away and after slipping a pedal at the start I was stuck behind the leader for the whole first lap. A felt that the pace wasn’t hard enough so I got past after 1 lap before we hit the single track again. I rode a few sections really clean and I had gotten a gap so I went all in to the finish and I won by 1min.

I’m happy with this result and exited to be back on the road bike this weekend my home race the Jimmy Watson memorial.
