One of my favourite course of the season in St Columb’s park held the Ulster Championship. I had a tough day of training in the legs yesterday so I didn’t know how I would feel today.
It was disappointing to have such low numbers racing today but I just got on with it and rode my normal race. I controlled the race taking the lead straight away and building on my gap each lap. At the finish I took the win by over 4 minutes so I was happy with my ride and how I was riding each section.
Now we have a break from racing for the Christmas break so now I will focus on training for the next few weeks before coming back to cross in January for hopefully a strong end to my brilliant season so far.
