The final round of the XC National series took place this weekend in Bellurgan Park. It is a super tough course with lots of climbing and also technical descents keeping you on your limits the whole time.

The race started and I got a good start, I got the whole shot around the first corner and led through the finish line. As we approached the first climb I slipped back to 2nd place. I fought for the next 3 laps and held my position and had the gap holding at the same time until the finish where I finished 2nd

I am also happy to win the series overall after my consistency throughout the season.
