After a good ride to P3 last week in Clonmel we were back in action again in Westport. A course with lots of climbing and a pure power course.

I had a good start getting the whole shot. I broke off the front with 2 other and we battled out for 2 laps. After a mistake from 1 it was down to me and 1 other battening for the win. After exchanging the lead and both taking advantage of each others weaknesses it came down to a sprint finish along the gravel rise up to the finishing line where I came 2nd.

I am happy with this ride. I felt strong and rode aggressive and I’ve moved to closer to the series lead
