A pretty solid 3 day for me complete. 2nd on GC KOM Winner, Stage1-2nd, Stage2-2nd, Stage3-3rd, Stage4-10th

Stage1- This was a short TT and I was only 0.2 seconds of the win. I’m bummed not to have won this stage but super happy with my ride in this TT proving form is there for National TT Champs.

Stage2- This stage was flat which didn’t suit me and it was quite a slow cagey race that turned out to be a bunch sprint were i finished 2nd. I also took 2nd in the Prime which meant I was 3 seconds off the yellow jersey for tomorrow.

Stage3- I was in the green jersey as the race leader was leading both classifications but I got to wear this jersey for today. This stage suited me better because there was a hill. It was small but was better than nothing. I won the KOM on this stage and finished 3rd in the prime. I opened my sprint very earlier hoping to surprise people and I was leading until 50meters before the line where 2 lads came past me so I finished 3rd.

Stage4- My plan was to attack and get clear solo to win stage and hopefully GC. The race was fats and in attacked over the KOM securing that jersey and going for glory but the bunch never let me go. The finsish was over the top of a hill. I sprinted from the very bottom of the hill about 400m from the line. I was leaqding right the way until the top of the hill but just over the top with about 100meters to go loads of people came past me meaning the bad stage result.
