I had a super great day at my last CX race of the season at McCrystals Cyclocross Track in Jekinstown, Co Louth. The race was in the name of a young boy who died last year and he loved cycling. you always seen him at all the races supporting his dad and his sister. The race took all the money made and gave it to a charity that helped Sean with a lot and is just down the road from the track.

Now onto the race, I had a good start getting away with 2 others then after about half a lap i started to loose the wheel and they got away. From there i just rode my own race riding at a strong pace and holding the gap to 2nd. Happy with how i rode and felt really good on the bike. I finished with 3rd so I was delighted to round out a great cross season with a win. Few weeks off and then things really start to kick off with the Road season and the MTB season beginning.
