Today was the National Champs in Armagh Palace Dememse right in the centre of the city. The course was as I expected, really muddy and loads of running. I got off to a good start but as we hit the first muddy section I got pushed off the fast line into the mucky bit and lost loads of positions. Then my target was just to move back up which managed to do. I felt I was riding string and running really well and I caught up to 5th place. After that I just had to keep pushing and trying not to make any mistakes. On the last lap I caught up to 4th and stayed there to the finish. I am supper happy with this result and I also finished first unplaced under 13.

Thanks to Apollo cycling team for helping out in the pits and coming out to support me. Huge well done to everyone today for even getting round in them extremely difficult conditions.
