Today was round 3 of the Ulster CX league at Cyclocross NI track in Portadown, I had a good race finishing 2nd, i had to start on the 2nd row because i haven’t gained enough points to get onto the front row yet. I got a good start getting away with 3rd and we rode together all race. We both kept hitting digs at each other but we both stayed together until the end, there was about 30 seconds left off the race when we were coming through a really mucky section at the end i got off to run and he kept riding but i was able to remount very fast and gap him just before the last corner. I am very pleased  with this because this was a very hard course and conditions, there is hills everywhere, stairs, sand pit and a downhill dual slamon section. I rode really strong and kept fighting, really happy with my form coming into the next few weeks of racing.
