Today was round 2 of the Ulster CX league at Ballee Playing Feilds, Ballymena. There was very tough conditions but I’m happy with my result. After missing round 1 and being gridded at the back i got a good start and got towards the front for the first corner. I then rode with 3rd for a few laps but managed to take things into my own hands, I then had about 2 laps to the finish so i got the head down and tried to see how close i could get to the leader. I am really happy with this as it is my first race in really mucky and slippy conditions I also felt I was getting stronger as the race went on.
Thanks to everyone behind the scenes for getting me to all the races and making sure all my equipment is always working.
I have now moved up a few places in the league after finishing 2nd today
