Today was the National Road Race Championships, we had the time trail earlier this morning and i finished in 2nd, after it raining all morning the rain had stopped just before we rolled out so it was all looking good, we had a 5 mile roll out but as we were rolling out the rain started to come down very heavy but it stopped just before we started so it was all good,the race started and everyone was trying to attack but nobody got away so i stayed at the front of the bunch so nobody could get away but we all stayed together and it was a bunch sprint and i just got beaten on the line for 1st but am very happy with 2nd so i secured another silver after a silver in the tt earlier in the moring. Hopefully tomorrow i can go one better in the Criterium around the streets of Gorey.
