Today was the Phoenix Youth Road Race and Time Trail in Ballinderry outside Lisburn. i had a great tt in the morning and i won the tt by a big gap. We then had a few hours to wait before the road race started. Sadly the course didn’t suit be aswell because it was very flat. We started and i sat in the bunch staying well positioned until the last corner with about 500 meters to go when i got onto the front coming into the corner and then sprinted out of it so i managed to win with around a 20 meter gap. This race gives me loads of confidence coming into the national championships next week.
